1952년 The Central Laboratory for Experimental Animals (CLEA) was established.
1954년 Supply of pelleted diet started.
1957년 The Central Laboratory for Experimental Animals was established as a nonprofit organization.

1967년 Name changed from CLEA to CIEA (Central Institute for Experimental Animals).
1975년 Leukocytosis phenomenon observed in nude mice for the first time in the world.
